Shay Khan is a British South Asian actor, model, singer-songwriter, and writer with a passion for captivating acting performances. Trained in all-round performing arts with a Bachelor of Performing Arts, his diverse background spans Stanislavski, Greek mythology, Grotowski, and Eastern theatre. He has also trained with Tim Supple The Actors Lab (DashArts) at RichMix, London. Since summer 2025, he has been training in Bollywood acting under casting director and coach Deepna Kumar (@deepnakumar). He has written songs/music for stage and screen.

As a singer-songwriter with over 20 years of experience making and touring music, Shay was personally invited by Ani DiFranco to open for her after she heard his music and reportedly said: “I was given 4 EP’s and one of them was Shay’s, and as soon as it played, I was like, what’s thaaat!? Wow. Let me give him a call.” This led to Shay opening for her across 3 weeks of her European tour. He was also personally invited by BBC Asian Network’s Bobby Friction to perform at his Going South music festival in London.

Shay is passionate about exploring opportunities in film and TV across sci-fi, detective, adventure, drama, and comedy genres, and has an avid interest in kung fu. Now based in Colombia, he is currently working on a feature film and is available for castings internationally.
